Chose to dine in cause saw it was always crowded with people, imagined they must have good food. Although we waited long for a table but the whole experience was totally worth it. The manager and staffs are all warmed and friendly, making our dining experience very comfortable. My friends are having Vietnamese food for the first time so the waitress patiently introduced the menu to us. Food are served fast although there are a lot of customers. We can saw the kitchen crew busying from the bar table. We are first delighted with a special free dish from the chef. It was a crispy appetizer with mushrooms and other vegetables on top. I especially love their summer rolls. Since I'm unable to eat prawn/shrimp, they attentively served my rolls separately. All other dishes tasted so good as well. The pork and fish are nicely cooked. Eating together with the herbs and rice noodle remind me of my Hanoi trip previously. Our wonderful dining experience ended with the traditional warm Vietnamese dessert ensured to be great by the waitress. It is rice balls with black sesame, coconut and peanut inside. The warm and sweet taste paired perfectly with the sesame and coconut. Can't help thinking about the taste. Will definitely wanna bring other people to come back again. Advise to make reservation to avoid disappointment as their table demand are high.
p/s: Halfway eating, the fire alarm was triggered. We have no choice but the left our delicious food and evacuated from the building. While waiting for the fire fighters to check through, the attentive waitress ensured us all dishes will be re-served in hot condition later on. They made and keep their promise. I seldom rate excellent for restaurant service especially those crowded one, but Cafe Hanoi certainly deserved an excellent for it.
