I had picked this restaurant to go to for our first night in auckland as it had good reviews & was close to our hotel. I knew it was in the britomart precinct - but it took a bit of effort to find as it has that very trendy enterance of an unassuming & almost unmarked door (with a tiny hard to read cafe hanoi).
But it was a great find as the place is just as cool inside with a lovely industrial feel fitout with an asian accent.
The place was almost full on a cold monday night but the friendly staff found us a table and explained how the menu worked. I couldn't fault the service.
We ordered the duck pancakes, the sticky pork ribs & garlic snake beans - we didn't really miss not odering rice - but it would have been perfect with the pork & beans.
Good quality & innovative asian food & the best ribs I have had - ever.
both our cocktails were also smartly made.
