We made a reservation based on the comments in Tripadvisor. We had the nine set menu with wine pairing and we were impressed by both - the food and the wines. The combination of the ingredients is partly surprising, but turns out to be just extremely tasty. The selection of wines matches perfectly and the service great. A must!

We dined at Sidart for a joint birthday and we couldn't have picked a better place for a special celebration. We sat in the Chef's booth, looking into the kitchen and were so amazed at how orderly and calm the chefs worked at creating their 'art'. Sid was in the kitchen and came over to introduce himself which was nice, but the service in general throughout the night was superb. With a little, warm, truffle butter roll to start, 2 amuse bouches, 5 courses, matching wines, and a macaroon to finish, we left highly contented and incredibly satisfied. The food was outstanding and Sidart deserves every accolade it gets.

With this place being number one we booked a table for two to celebrate our anniversary.
The table over looking the city was loverly... Then in came a group of twenty came in then the noise level went up so high I checked the decibel reading on my phone and it averaged over 90. the waiter staff apologized but we could hardly hear what they saying.
This made it very hard to enjoy the meal. We had the nine courses and found most of the dishes bland n confusing with too many flavours on one plate.. Too much foam n deep frying made the meals frankly boring....if u want this type of eating I would recommend you try the French cafe ,,, they are my opinion still number one.

Went to SidArt last night for the test kitchen 8 course degustation. Absolutely amazing.! Its hard to choose one highlight. Food was delicious and plated beautifully. Service was excellent and the small restaurant meant the staff could pay attention to each table and provide great service. We especially liked being given the menu in an envelope so we had the option of each course being a surprise.. We decided to not look at the menu and enjoy each course as it came out. I can't wait to go back.

We always enjoy eating food we didn't know existed. The menu here delivers unique cuisine with well balanced flavours. The service is also great. Our only criticism was the Chardonnay we chose, it was not good. They made up for it with a great dessert wine pairing however.
