Seafood is plenteous with Auckland so near to the waters but whether they are fresh as it gets in restaurants that serves sashimis is another question. The sashimi here is fantastic.It's also one of the few that serves soft shell crab. I judge a good udon in the soup, if it's laced with MSG, I would feel it within the next hour with a parched throat. Had a beef udon and it was delicious.The staff 3 very friendly and courteous (as most Japanese are) young man. Overall a very pleasant experience. Will go back again.
