It was relatively quiet on the Saturday night we went for drinks and dinner to E Cucina. Service was understandably attentive, but not annoying.
There were 10 of us out on a girls night, so we enjoyed cocktails in the bar area first and then were seated at a great big rustic wooden table to enjoy our meal.
Choices ranged from goat cheese souffle to duck and pork, but the most popular and absolute divinely delicious choice was the gnocchi with osso bucco. The meat was tender and shredded through and there was enough of a chilli hit to warm up the cold wintery evening.
I would go back to E Cucina for this gnocchi dish alone!
The ambience was sophisticated, with warm lighting and inviting decor. The music was quirkiily questionable, ranging from Michael Bolton ballads to Whitney Houston.
Prices were average for a central Perth restaurant.
