Arrived at 8pm, really too late to get the best from the restaurant and track. But who would have thought 8pm was too late on a Friday night? Entry to the track was $10 per person, a very reasonable charge. However, the actual race track was almost deserted, while it is still winter, one would have expected more people. Have been a number of times during summer and is usually reasonably busy. The Beau Rivage restaurant is located on the second level of the main stand, we selected the buffet and charged $66 per person. As we were late arrivals, the food had been out for some time and past it's prime. We also purchased bottled wine from the bar, now while you expect restaurant wine charges to be higher, the charges are almost outrageous. They charged $46 for the Vasse Felix "Classic Dry Red" and while a nice drink, the premium charge is not warranted. The buffet is definately not worth the charge, while I might go back to the track in summer, I won't be going to this restaurant again. The views of the track are excellent from the restaurant, the river runs past the track so the river views are excellent too, even better after they switch the lights off after the last race. Unfortunately, the views arn't worth the cost of the restaurant - won't be going back to this restaurant again.
