“Check out the museum”
Reviewed May 15, 2013

The gardens are wonderful, but I also recommend checking out the little Supreme Court museum. The front has been set up like the old Court house and in the back (where the Chambers would have been) there is lots of historical information - including some evidence exhibits from old cases. We ended up spending hours in there. It's free too!

“well maintained”

A pretty place to wander and admire the flora,. Take a picnic lunch and relax although parking anywhere near is costly and sometimes impossible to find.

“A tranquil walk”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

I found myself here by accident the other day when I arrived too early for an appointment on Barrack Street. I had about 45 mins to kill and I made the most of it by walking in the gardens and marvelling at some amazingly old native tress, the size of which I can't remember seeing elsewhere.

Beautifully kept and very popular with those seeking a moment of solitiude, judging by all the office workers squatting on the benches, listening to music on their headphones, reading or just tapping away on computers.

I will go back. Loved it.

This is a pleasant place to walk through. I would not bother making a special trip to see however if u are in the city it is a well presented garden.

Lovely gardens and views. So peaceful. Great for photos, even weddings. Great place for a small picnic or just a walk.
