There are numerous parks in Perth but this park is right at the center of the city. A government building that is surrounded by a huge manicured park and with kangaroo sculptures is definitely a Must Stop Spot in Perth. The park is adjacent to another park, the Stirling Gardens.Since we visited at the beginning of Spring, there were a lot of beautiful flowers blooming .

It's a peaceful site - you can sit on chairs - hear birds sing - its lovely. I was happy to be away from the pension of perth b & b - if we had not paid there we would have just left.

It just is a really beautiful place. You forget you are in the heart of the city. Great to sit and contemplate your navel!

on a perfect Perth day one really does need to be out of the CBD office during the lunch break.
Being at the mid-eastern end of the CBD is an advantage: take a 20 minute break to eat your salad, sandwich or wrap in the garden at the front (or is it the back) of the Supreme Court.
If you really need to zone out you could do a group exercise session in the garden.
whatever takes your fancy just enjoy it!

It's close to the sea side. Hence, u can get a great view if you cross the road. Being quite densely covered by plants, it's a good hideout for city goers to get away from it all for a brief few minutes.
