“The Church with the funky sculpture”
Reviewed May 27, 2012

What really stands out about this large church is the funky sculpture that sits at the front on the grounds. I won’t even try to describe it – take a look at the photos. The Cathedral itself is large, but gets a little lost in the surrounding buildings (compared to St Mary’s Cathedral for example). Still a nice and large church, St George’ s Cathedral is a nice building to see.

“What a gem...”
Reviewed May 10, 2012

We arrived for a look-see and quite by chance arrived just in time for the mid-week communion service. It was a very nice service and we had a chat with the Celebrant and small congregation afterwards - it was nice to receive such a welcome. We found it to be a very spiritual place and the chapel dedicated to the ANZAC troops was quite special. The section devoted to the Perth City founders we found quite interesting too.

“Well built bricks”
Reviewed February 18, 2012

Pretty small as Cathedrals go, and made of red bricks, but a together building for all that. Excellent organ and a nice set of change ringing bells.
