We dined here last night before attending 'Mrs Browns Boys', it was a good way to start the evening. You are admitted to the Arena before most of the show attendees - ideal for checking out the merchandise shop with no-one else around.
We attended the 6pm sitting & were greeted with a glass of fizz - nice. We were shown to a table, shared by 8 others, had no problem with this after all we were all there for the same show!
The 'tasting plate starter was waiting at the table. The mains duck, lamb or prawns were served buffet style & we had been briefed on arrival as to which line to join.
The whole atmosphere was relaxed. We were entertained by a 4 string/1 percussion quintet with a classic sound but a modern playlist.
My only (small) worry is the lack of space between tables. The staff manoevered well between them, but I got 'bodged' by some guests returning to their seats.
In all we would definitely do this again.

The entry vouchers we printed featuring 'sky dinning restaurant' could have been a clue. On arrival we were shown to our table, which appeared to be tables of 10 so four of us were on a table with six strangers - not sure about that one. Took a while to attract the waitress's attention for the glass of wine included in the $65 charge for the two course meal. Entrees were already set out on the table to help ourselves. They were okay.
The confusion arose with the main course. We assumed our mains order would be taken by a waitress until someone pointed us in the direction of the queue. Standing in line quite a while before realising we were in the wrong queue didn't help. The choices of pork, lamb or salmon (pork & lamb on one side of the room, salmon on the other) had their individual queues with only one harassed person at each station freshly loading and serving every plate. The signs for the choices were placed along side the serving counter so many people didn't realise they were in the wrong queue until they moved up then had to start all over again.
While the food was good we thought the rest of it was badly organised. With the limited menu it would surely be quicker and far less frustrating if the mains order was taken and served at the table? Then at least we would all be eating together instead of some finishing before others had even started. That alone has put us off 'dinning' there again.
