The Waldorf in Mounts Bay Road is a great location for exploring Perth if you don't want to be in the centre of the busy CBD. It a 10 minutes walk to the bus station, or even catch one of the TransPerth buses, which are free in the central Perth zone. The Waldorf is 100 metres from the foot of Jacob's Ladder, the 242 steps that take you up to the outskirts of Kings Park. Handy for the return trip even if you prefer to take the bus up to Kings Park.
The apartment is very well appointed and ideal for a couple. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked in more often than not. Belinda was really helpful when we contacted her about how to use the washing machine. Provision of access codes and key card also worked very smoothly.
The Waldorf has a small swimming pool which we enjoyed. It is outdoors and unheated but nice on a hot day.
We would have chosen to stay here longer had it been available.
Good location within a comfortable walking distance to the city centre, good clean unit with everything we needed. Would stay again!
Excellent location, 10-15 minutes pleasant walk to city centre and the beautiful Elizabeth Quay/Swan River. Free bus service to and around City centre.
Lovely pool, although little cold due to weather not being consistent and pool not heated, but this was the case with our other 3 different accommodation.
Beautiful balcony overlooking tennis court and pool. Had breakfast most mornings in the sun one the balcony.
Parking permit left in apartment for our arrival by Belinda.
Everything you could need was provided, loved the fact that we had cooking and washing facilities.
Belinda amazing with communication and getting things to us, nothing was too much for her.
Thank you Belinda for making our first week of our holiday such a smooth transition from England
Regards and best wishes
I stayed in this apartment for five days and it was my first stop on a month long trip to Australia. It was clean and comfortable, and the air-conditioning was most welcome as it was 36C when I was there. I was glad of the swimming pool, and ate at the restaurant one night which was very good. The free bus is about 150 yards from the front of the apartment and it took me into the centre of Perth in about five minutes. I had no need of a car. I would stay there again.
Location was fairly central to many amenties. General store & restaurant next door handy. Kitchen was equiped well for cooking in, if so desired. Unlimited free wi-fi appreciated. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.
Booked here to stay. It's just over a mile or so from the main centre give or take. The main bus station is a short walk too. Lovely apartment. Very clean and everything works fine. Other people will leave bits like tea milk jam etc If you come late as we did it was a god send as we could have a cuppa before orientation. The lobby has some leaflets on things to do. The apartment overlooks the tennis court and it's not to noisy at all. The TV works fine, as we have been to other place and the signal is rubbish but here its perfectly fine. So glad we booked. Thank you Belinda.
