We have an entertainment book which included a
discount at Galangal. When we entered we were
pleasantly surprised how smart the restaurant was.
A number of Thai places are usually cafe style but
this was a little more upmarket. The food was on the
whole very good we started with 2 entrees for 4, curry
puffs and fish cakes, for mains we had duck in red curry
with lychee and tomatoes which turned out to be the
pick of the dishes, the massaman curry was excellent
as well with melt in your mouth meat. we also Pad prik
king goong (tiger prawn) and sweet and sour chicken
which was recommended by the waitress and turned out
to be the least popular amongst us this dish is more suited
to Chinese food. A little more expensive than most Thai places
but with our discount was more palatable. Would go back again.
