Group of 6 visited last night (20/7/2016). Two of our group had been before so were able to (with the help of the manageress) guided us through the extensive menu.
Restaurant is divided into small dining rooms with some small tables for two along the side wall. When we arrived (around 1900) the place was almost full, so I would suggest reservations (which we had done) are essential.
We started with scallops followed by peking duck for entree, both delicious, then had a selection of mains which we shared with steamed rice. Good old tratitional sweet and sour pork was fantastic, as was the Stir fried chicken filets with szechuan sauce, briased prawns singapore style and sizzling mongolian beef filets with onions.
For desert we were all tempted by the banana and jack fruit rolls which were memorable.
Excellent wine list, but prices a bit above average.
I would classify the restaurant as "on the expensive side" and probably suited for a special occasion restaurant, but value for money.
Parking would be an issue as its right on Mounts Bay Road, so we were happy with our decission to "maxi taxi" it.
Loved this friendly restaurant with their lovely food, & efficient & friendly staff.
Will definately be back.
