“Nice view up there!”
Reviewed June 15, 2013 via mobile

Gotten a 17th floor room with a view on the 8th of June. Expects it to be of a certain standard after readin reviews from here. Food on the expensive range but taste make up for it! Fantastic!

Location wise nothing to shout about. Have some problen finding the carpark. After talking to some of the guests, noted tht I was not alone...

Overall. Pleased and would return to stay if price is right.

we stayed in this hotel on early june this year, the photos shown on travel agency portal is somehow gave us doubt as price they offer is affordable and tractive. but when we arrive, we are impressed with their design of hotel it self, dark elegant color with luxury touch in every detail and yet its very clean,we are staying in studio where there's living room, dining table and own kitchen separated from bedrooms, make us feel at far home. front office and staff are very helpful and we got free car parking but seems its not enough space during weekend. perhaps in the future they should make again offer like price with inclusion of breakfast or other bonus which i see plenty of hotels around make that. but again, this hotel is one of our best stay in perth.

We booked this suite on the understanding that a one bedroom suite could sleep up to 3 and that there was a kitchenette and laundry facilities in the room. We booked for 3 people for 5 nights. Arrived from Sydney app 9pm and met our daughter who is studying in Perth. On enquiry we were told the restaurant was open till 10.30pm. When we entered the unit we realised there was no bed for our daughter, a very small kitchen area and NO laundry facilities at all. Arranged a bed to be brought up and phoned desk to enquire about lack of facilities. Was told we hadn't ASKED for laundry facilities and unfortunately all other rooms taken but that they would change rooms the next day.Went down to restaurant to be told that it had closed at 9.30pm!! Next day took till2pm to arrange room transfer. Each day when the room was serviced they would only leave 2 towels even though there was an extra bed in the room and we had booked for three people.Hotel is new and rooms are immaculate, staff are pleasant BUT not well trained. In short we will try other accomodation on our next trip.

Stayed at the Frazer Suite for a weekend. The weekend rate was very reasonable, the rooms were modern (new hotel) clean and comfortable. Being very picky here, a man must have designed the bathroom, as the lighting over the mirror was very poor, but that is the only downside to the room.

The heated lap pool, sauna, spa was devine. There was also what looked like a very good gym (however didnt try this out).

Tried the breakfast...coffee was good, and for the weekday workers, noticed they offered takeaway. The service and atmosphere very good. The buffet breakfast however, when we got there, the fried rice had been in the serveries way too long and was not very nice, and the rest of the hot breakfast was very average, a little brushing up from the chef on quality could make an average breakfast into a reallly good breakfast. There was a small range of pastries, fruit and yogurt on offer as well.

Would definitely stay here again if needed as the rooms are lovely and well priced and would definitely make use of the great gym and pool facilities as they were wonderful. Would probably grab a takeaway coffee and go down the road for breakfast (unless of course they put in a bit more effort to the quality of the buffet breakfast).

Oh, there is parking on the weekends out the back on a side street which is no charge. There is also hotel parking for standard rates. Overall enjoyed the stay....

I have never felt it necessary to write a review before however this experience warrants one. After an 8 hour (775km) drive into Perth we arrived at Fraser Suites. After finally being greeted by 1 of the 4 staff that were behind the reception desk, it became apparent that "service with a smile" didn't apply here. After waiting for 5 minutes we were asked to take a seat as our room's "were not ready for us yet". I found this odd as it was 5pm. There was no apology and the attitude from the staff member was as if we had been the ones who had made the mistake. After waiting for a further 15 minutes we were given our keys. We were compensated for our wait with free parking and a late check out after some persistence from my mother in law. Directions were given to get to the car park... left, left, left which resulted in us driving into a police head quarters. We eventually found the underground car park.

We went to our rooms on separate floors. The studio deluxe room my partner and I stayed in was great value for money, comfy bed and nice decor as you would expect with a new establishment, apart from a dodgy bed side lamp that sounded as if it was shorting out. We found a complementary bottle of wine, we assumed this was for our wait down stairs. After enjoying a glass each we noticed a piece of paper on the desk. It was a note to another customer clearly this room was not for us. My partner and I went out for dinner that night. After talking with my mother in law the next morning her room was different to ours, it had two single beds. Luckly her husband had decided to stay home and work for the weekend. She was happy to stay in the single bed as she found it comfy but clearly not a deluxe studio room. She told us she had felt tired from the long drive to perth and would have ordered room service if there was a menu in the room and instead snacked from the mini bar. After the display of service from reception she didn't feel like complaining about either the lack of in room menu or the bed situation. On the second night my partner and I ordered a soft centered chocolate desert via room service, after it finally arrived over 30 minutes later. It was a raw centered chocolate pudding, maybe an attempeted soufflé?

On Sunday morning Frasers Suites displayed their poor service once again as reception had called my mother inlaw and asked why we had not checked out yet. The late check out that had been agreeded with by reception had not been recorded. Upon check out we were greated by another staff member that clearly hated her job. She was rude to every customer at reception, in front of us she stopped another customer leaving and accused him of not paying, even though he had dealt with another receptionist and had a receipt in his hand. There was no apology given to that customer, nor an "excuse me" to us as she was processing our check out at the time. The rudeness continued as there was a dispute with the mini bar that had been recored wrong by house keeping. Finally our stay was over. While heading to our car we began talking to another couple, their room was not the room they booked, the staff were also rude to them and their late check out had also been ignored.

Customer service training would go a long way at this establishment. The small issues we had were escalated by staff that were incapable of basic courtesy. I work in an unrelated customer service based industry and would lose customers if I spoke and treated customers as Fraser Suites do. I expect customers that maybe aren't from large corporations regularly leave without intending to return.

Anything to do with the hotel itself was great. Location, rooms.. All lovely, clean and new.

However, all service aspects were awful. Extremely rude staff at reception, who when we tried to check in at 5pm had us wait over 20 minutes while they organised rooms for us. They compensated us for the wait with free parking and a late check-out. We had two rooms booked, and while one was what we ordered, the other was two single beds in a standard room- two floors apart.

On the day of checkout we were called to ask why we had not checked out- our late checkouts were not recorded. When we made our way to reception we again were treated very rudely by staff, and witnessed them treating other customers in the same manner- leaving all amazed by the poor attitudes of staff.

We were very disappointed with the service at Frasers, which tainted greatly our experience. I would not stay there again.

Brand new place, very nicely done. I had the one bedroom suite with lounge/galley kitchen and separate bedroom and bathroom. Best place I have stayed in Perth so far, the others places usually old and run down a bit or with average renovation but this one is brand new and fitted out very well. Only complaint would be that the place offers room service but there isn't a menu anywhere in your room and when I requested one I got a couple of pages torn from I think the restaurant! Not to worry, all good and will stay there again for sure
