We met up with some friends here for yum cha yesterday. Had never been there or heard of the place before however our friends recommended it having been there once before and were happy with it. Presentation of the restaurant is top notch. It looks like it may have been renovated extensively within the last few years. The décor is stylish, yet simple. It is clean and modern and one of the better presented Chinese restaurants I have been to in Perth.
Upon arriving we were seated promptly and the food and Chinese tea came to the table very soon after. The choice of yum cha food was great and there were menus available on the table if you wanted to order something a little more substantial to try. The yum cha plates were all fresh and nice and hot. Too many Chinese restaurants circulate the same food around on the trolleys long after the food has lost it's heat and freshness, not here however.
Parking outside is free and plentiful, that's a big bonus as parking at these type of restaurants can often be a big hassle. Next to the restaurant there is also a big oval and some play equipment if you have kids, great to go next door for that if you have little ones like we did and let them let of some steam.
The restaurant is located facing on to the Kwinana freeway however we heard no road noise from inside the restaurant. We've been looking for a new local after the one we used to visit in Warwick has rapidly deteriorated. I think we have now found it. Highly recommended.
