Owner description: Twelve of the 18 bells in this tower came from London's St.-Martin-in-the-Fields church in Trafalgar Square as a Bicentenary gift to the people of Western Australia in 1988. Originally cast in the 13th century and recast in the 16th and 18th centuries, they were rung at the homecoming of James Cook after his voyage of discovery in 1771, after the Battle of El Alamein in 1942 and at the coronation of every British monach since George II in 1727.

“Great time filler in Perth”

Went into bell tower to fill in sometime. The building is amazing and very clean. As you walk up the different levels there is more and more bell history. The top floor has amazing views of Perth.

“Nothing to see, Nothing to do”

Ok, is beautiful, but if you are in the river side road you can stop see, take some pictures and leave, the river sight is better.

“An Interesting Attraction in a Beautiful Setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2013

We had the oppportunity to visit the Bell Tower while exploring Perth and really enjoyed the experience. As one quickly discovers, the facility itself is an interesting design with much background material about the building, the bells, and the bell ringers. At the sixth floor, one gets to see Perth from a higher open air elevation, and take pictures (if so desired). The tower also had a very informative staff person on the sixth floor available to answer questions about the tower and Perth in general. While I was a little reluctant to spend the money to see the tower, in retrospect I am glad that I did.

As everyone else had said, the pricing stung...especially for families. Nicely presented, but slightly over done.
