Charming outdoor restaurant in the 1,000 acre Kings Park, in Perth Western Australia. Can't rate it highly enough. Great service, friendliness and the quality of the food for cafe prices is extraordinary. The salt and pepper squid is out of this world. It's a daytime park restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea ( yum ) and the park is full of picnicking families who come in for ice-creams and cappuccinos which like all of Perth;s cafes are superb. Not open at night, and on Sunday you can't book but just turn up - but the staff are mobilised to make sure everyone gets a table as quickly as possible. They will even send you for a short walk in the park and text when a table comes vacant.
