Relaxing an a thousand photo opportunities. One can easily spend half a day there between views and above ground walkway

There's nothing that I particular like or dislike. It's just a park with a small botanic garden. It might be a good place for the locals to hang around but they have a place to go back to in Perth.

As for tourists who stay in hotels, I would recommend cutting short one day's hotel stay if you are planning to spend a day to 'relax' at this park. Perth's hotel rates are sky high and your money could be better spend on something else.

Hyde Park isn't huge, but it is big enough to provide an easy walk around water, shady spots to relax in, and playgrounds for children. The water playground is relatively new and great fun for little ones and adults alike!

Very pretty park located in Highgate. Close to city. Great for picnics & walking. Playground areas abound with great equipment. Great for family or group gatherings

Perth in all seasons has so many pristine days, take a picnic, a book, the dog, a baby, some music. It doesn't matter, this park is so lovely, the grass is super soft, there are lots of trees, some kids play equipment, a lake to ride the bike around. One tip, don't go through here at night.
