“delighful”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

Perth in all seasons has so many pristine days, take a picnic, a book, the dog, a baby, some music. It doesn't matter, this park is so lovely, the grass is super soft, there are lots of trees, some kids play equipment, a lake to ride the bike around. One tip, don't go through here at night.

“Nice walk”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

Beautiful place to walk and exercise. There are a few noticeboards with the history of the park: the place used to be swampland and was actually slated for drainage and development until it was realised that swamp drainage adversely affected the water table. Now there are a couple of ponds (swamps?) which are havens for waterfowl. As you walk around, there are several exercise areas, and random statues. There's a playground for children, and a stage area where they occasionally hold concerts. Probably not worth seeking out unless you are a park enthusiast, or in the area and wishing for a spot of greenery.

“Normal park”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

Nothing to get too excited about, but probably nice for locals to have a stroll around. Not worth seeking out for others.
