“Stylish and spotless in a perfect location”

As many reviewers underlined,Perth is an expensive city, and this is an affordable alternative which provides everything a traveler needs, whether for business or leisure,on the edge of the CBD.

The room is clean and comfy, with full kitchenette for those who prefer to eat @ home,or want to have the choice. But there is a great cafe/restaurant downstairs, and the main pedestrian zone with all the eateries and shops is merely a 10 mns. walk away across the bridge. From there public transport takes you everywhere you need to go,including the beautiful Cottesloe beach.

I have stayed here a few times over the past 18 months and was delighted to find the cafe and restaurant open.. The evening service in the restaurant was slick and professional and the Food was fantastic. Morning coffee is super as are the friendly staff. Hopefully the prices don't go up to the ridiculous and unjustifiable prices of the hotels in the city.

We had made the mistake of booking in somewhere else very close to this hotel and had to move very quickly. We checked this one out and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Allowed me to use their wifi to make the booking via Wotif to get the best deal for 4 night stay.

Room great. Clean and comfortable with all that we would expect. Kitchen adequate for preparing microwave meals and breakfasts.

Bathroom great, although would agree with other reviewer that a blind on bathroom window would be nice, although glass is frosted. We had private patio and hardly heard the road, not like other so called hotels in the area.

Location excellent for Perth CBD, Kings Park and only 15 minutes from Barrack Square Jetty. Blue CAT bus drops off at bottom of Jacob's Ladder if you fancy a challenge, or next stop brings you to SpringStreet and a short walk back across the footbridge.

Free parking and wifi major plus.

They were also great at accommodating our luggage before we had booked in.

Would recommend it to anyone not wanting to spend city centre hotel prices.

Room Tip: Pay a little extra for the rooms with the patio or the balconies at the back of the hotel.

This is an affordable bed in an expensive city. It is not a 5 star hotel. For what you pay, considering the cost of other inner city accommodation in Perth, you get a great deal. Free parking is a bonus, although it's an easy walk over the bridge onto St Georges Terrace (where there is free public transport within the city area). I always stay here because I am happy for my room to be a room. I don't tend to feel the need for 24 hour receptions or even pools and gyms. If you're comfortable with the idea of getting a key (only 1 key though which is a minor let down) to a small 1 bedroom apartment and being left to yourself, this place is excellent. With an inoffensive (albeit slightly dated) new york loft vibe, I like the design. There is no pastel. It is clean and neutral. It ticks a lot of boxes for me. It's cool, boutiquey, great coffee downstairs, beautiful part of the world, winning views, central, cheap for Perth. Highly recommended.

This was a great find. It is an apartment hotel so your room won't be serviced everyday but the rooms are large and airy. The staff on the front desk are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant for breakfast and lunch is fabulous. Once again very friendly staff. A shame it wasn't open for dinner but I believe that is happening very soon. A 5 minute walk over the footbridge to the CBD. Great value. I would stay here again.

My parents and I stayed in a standard room over a hot Christmas period in 2012. The room had a double and single bed and well appointed kitchenette (stove, sink, cutlery ,etc). We had room number 207 and had a fine stay - no major complaints. The Wi-Fi was reliable and complimentary. The A//C worked well (Xmas day was 39 degrees) and we heard no traffic noise at night. The hotel is a short 15 -20 minute walk across the freeway to city bars and a short 1o min uphill walk to the beautiful Kings Park. I find the negative reviews or one star reviews of this joint hard to understand. Maybe people have high expectations. I think we paid about $130 per night. The only minor quibble was that the flat screen TV was a bit too small for the room, oh and they did not make the room each day, which we didn't really care about.

Room Tip: rooms on the upper floors (200-215 or 300-315) are better than the rather gloomy looking ground floo...

I stayed at this so called motel for a week,

For a start, the TV had one channel (ABC) that was watchable, the bed was made once, the towels changed once, I was working late, but they would not even accommodate leaving the laundry open so I could do washing, the cooking facilities consisted of an old microwave and a gas cooktop, no oven. No restaurant to do dinner, it seemed more like somewhere for the "bosses mates" to hang around drinking......

The water pressure in the shower was weak, the balcony had one plastic chair, and no view, apart from the freeway, which was 80 mtrs away and I heard every siren in the Perth CBD at night for a week

I have read other reviews on here saying exactly the same thing, this business operates in a service industry, maybe the need to do a course in SERVICE......

Room Tip: Don't go above the first floor...or stay elsewhere.
