I was a little apprehensive when I booked to stay here but the staff at check-in where really pleasant, the old worldly lift bought back memories along with the creaky floors along the corridor. The room was a real surprise, bit on the small size but more than adequate, the bathroom really functional but the place had a cozy feel about it. The cost of the room including the really great buffet breakfast is really good value, the only real down side is the lack of parking although there are car parks close by but the overnight cost is not cheap, the hotel should negotiate a rate with these people as it would make it a better package. I would stay here again but I would need to think about where to park the car. The free wifi is really good and there's a roof garden.

My wife and I recently stayed here for the night on their getaway treat for 2 package. We upgraded to the superior queen room with the balcony. I found the room small but very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel WiFi reception upstairs was almost non existent. Dinner was average, I don't think their seafood was very good, and selection was limited. Breakfast was much better. For the same price I paid I could have gotten a far nicer room at another hotel, but miss mauds made up for that in character, I especially enjoyed the old elevator, which will soon be replaced. Would have liked to have had cable channels in the room though.

I stayed at miss Maud's for a night out. I stayed in a single room an it was an absolute hidden treasure. I was unsure at first, but the old style really made it feel like really homely. The room was very well presented with a complimentary breakfast I was sold. Will definitely be back. :)

Had the opportunity to have dinner here - buffet
Was amazing, the service offered was also very consistent. I would recommend getting the buffet, It is worth the charge

Enjoyed very much, thanks for the experience!

If you want an old fashioned, so old everything smells like stale beer place; then this is it for you!!! This place has a horrible history and is notoriously racist!!!!! The rooms are old and smell like death, and they haven't changed their menu, especially their cakes in forty years!!! With so many nice places and real gems in Perth; why would you stay in a second rate establishment??????

Room Tip: Don't stay here!!!
