“Stay at Mecure Hotel Perth”

Ideally located near the shopping centre in Perth and only a short walk from the main railway station should you wish to travel a bit further.

Atmosphere friendly, nothing is any trouble when asking.

Very musch look forward to my next stay there.

The Mercure appears to have had a recent renovation which has obviously refreshed what could have been a pretty bad hotel. There are a number of areas where they have cut costs, like the TVs which were probably the first LCDs ever produced. The room is fairly sparsely furnished, but the bed is comfortable enough and the bathroom was nice.

The restaurant downstairs (called Ten) was downright appalling. The service was slow and the food was expensive and shockingly poor in quality. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Do yourself the favour and take a walk rather than eat here.

Its location is convenient and it was nice and clean. The price was right, so I would probably return.

The location of the hotel is great, it's very quiet. The rooms cold do with a revamp, very dark and dull decor. The bathroom looks like something from the seventies, yucky brown tiles. Very expensive for what you get, room service was really, really average. Probably wouldn't stay again.

when you want to go to a play or the opera in the city , it is very handy. It is the hotel of our choice. The standard room is comfortable . We always sleep well. The staff are helpful. The price is affordable , What more could you want!

Stayed at the Mercure perth for 3 nights. Staff service was very poor, Bathrooms looked like something out of an 80s horror film. Mould on taps. Dissapointed with the shower over bath set up. As for the tv my laptop screen is bigger. They charge like wounded bulls, but cannot seem to have a decent size TV, The gym upstairs looks like new equipment went in it in about 1978. Badly needs an upgrade. Good points were close to city and free bus is outside. Wont stay here again. Word of advice, shop around you can do better than Mercure Perth.

Room Tip: Ask for room in west wing. You can control air con in west wing. where in other wings they run on au...

My wife and I stated last month at this hotel during our round Australia holiday. First impressions were not good, although we did arrive very early in the morning. The hotel is set in a dull business area although it is quite well placed for the ferry across to South Perth and Fremantle, the shopping area and the excellent local bus service. The bed was excellent in a large room, good toiletries and a lovely rooftop swimming pool. On the downside the room was let down by some things that could be easily be put right. The shower rail was rusty, dust on the bedside lights and the bathroom door had seen better days. Reception staff were helpful and efficient. we had breakfast on one morning, which was okay but, we thought, expensive even by Western Australia standards. On the whole a nice hotel but could be so much better with only a little effort.

3 nights spent at this hotel recently. Bed & room was comfortable with room to move for work, yoga & in-room dining.
Shower head was a little lower for me (at shoulder height), and I had to purchase my own milk for refreshments as they had run out?!
Very basic, only able to make hot drink in room, but knew that before travelling.
Very close to Hay & Murray St Mall, about 3 blocks, and on circle line for red/yellow & blue cat bus service (these are free in Perth!)
3blocks in other direction to Perth mint + this hotel is on the 'Shuttle' line to/from airport.
Close to Queens Park & river
Pros: Location, room size, friendly staff, tidiness
Cons: Shower head, TV (was fuzzy), room service (ordered two meals and both arrived cold), internet speed

Room Tip: Request a room in the West Tower, these are in the same tower as the pool & gym
