Booked the hotel through Agoda.com with AUD180/night (4person=double+twin room). Overall, the room is over our expectations. Behind our room is a playground plus back entrance of the hotel. It has a living room (seating+tv+dining table) with air-conditioner/heater. Since we were on a budget travel, we decided to cook and the room is totally suits us. The kitchenette is complete with microwave, refrigerator, hot plates, and complete utensils! We also use the washing machine and the dryer almost everyday (no detergent provided). It has separate shower. But no water hose at the toilet, so we needed to use toilet paper.

Iron and 4 big towels are also provided. Though no housekeeping (we never asked one), you can put the dustbin outside the room every morning and they will take care of it. Internet? Yes, they give free WiFi. The speed is reasonable. I think there is no PC room. They don't seem kind enough when my dad needed to use PC and the receptionist didn't bother to help. We don't interact much with the staff during our stay. They also have convenience store; chips, breads, pasta sauces. You can choose rooms at the ground level near the playground if you love to walk around the hotel. But always bring your room card to access the building. Don't want you to get stuck outside.

Location wise - quite good. There are Yellow cat bus stop and Harbour Town just across the hotel. So we just take the bus if we need to go to the central area like Myer, Woolworths (we get our food supply here) and also Perth Station. The hotel is also 10 minutes walk to City West Station (Fremantle Line). So you don't need to go to Perth Station if you want to go to Fremantle. If you need to rent a car, there is Europcar just one street ahead. The hotel also provides parking lot. And there is a gas station nearby (at the T-junction of the street).

Tips: It is a nice apartment hotel if you intend to cook as well as have a private stay with family. Though maximum is 4 person per room, i think you can squeeze another 2 person if you don't mind to sleep on the couch and floor.

Room Tip: Choose rooms facing playground if you want home-like view. Choose rooms facing Harbour Town if you l...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with some friends. The location is ok. A bit out of the city centre, but within walking distance. The location to Harbour Town is very good if you want to head out somewhere for breakfast.

Rooms were spacious, decor was a bit outdated but beds were comfortable. The bathroom definitely needs to be upgraded, and the leaky toilets needs to be fixed as well.

The main negative for me was the amount of noise that goes through the room. Loud pipes, banging going on throughout the night, and also being able to hear people walking and their conversations from the room above. So stay away if you want a good nights sleep!

Located in West Perth this apartment hotel offers free parking, free wifi (1GB per day, per guest) and excellent ammenities. It is showing its age, but the staff are very friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to assist. The raw brick internal walls not only date the property, but are difficult to keep dust free, however the apartment had everything we needed including washer and dryer!
Terrific access to the city centre via Perth city's excellent FREE bus service. Inside the 'city circle' travel is free to all - fabulous, other city's should take note. Perth is a modern, vibrant and beautiful, tree-filled city it is a pleasure to visit.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the property, because Wellington Street is a main city street and busy...

Stayed for a night on my own. It is away from city centre but is connected by the free yellow cat bus service which runs from morning till about 7.

The hotel faces harbour town which is an excellent factory outlet mall with food outlets. There is a decent Coles about two yellow cat stops away.

The rooms are tired and in need of a refresh. Only one aircon in the living room and fans in the bedrooms. The rooms however comes with free wifi and there is a pool, shop, and fitness centre. Rooms also have full cooking facilities n the bigger rooms have washing machines n dryers. Staff were helpful and reasonably friendly. There is also free parking for guest.

Not an amazing but ok for short stay.

Location and near city, sporting venues is the advantage of City Stay Apartments.

Sure the decor is a bit dated, facilities a bit worn, we knew this when we booked.

This is compensated by larger rooms, (small apartments with separate lounge and kitchen) access to free continuous 3 channels of movies and suitable to self cater or have a cooked breakfast provided,

The location is serviced by a Citycat free city bus immediately outside the front door. The staff were friendly and most helpful. Parking was available, but we didn't need it as we travelled around the city by public transport.

Room Tip: At the back of the complex

Its was nice location, infront of harbour town shopping center great place to spend your day if you like shopping, elevator was scarry needs some TLC. Rooms need some spring cleaning as the brick wall dusty cutlery and ameneties in the room needs some upgrade. The fan was accident hazard, internet connection was free in all rooms but so slow. Public computer on lobby area but you cant use it. We will be back but hoping some changes was been made.

Great location and swimming pool was good. However, the apartment carpets / curtains all need replacing and modernising. Kitchen contained key equipment and also a washing machine and tumble drier. The air conditioning unit was noisy and ineffective and the corridors and lifts need AC units as they smelled of cooking from other apartments!

Room Tip: Avoid a room on the road side as it was very noisy
