Firstly, Perth is very expensive. I stayed on business, but paying close to two hundred dollars a night for a Travelodge bothered me a bit.
I chose this hotel because of the location, it really suited my needs. My room was on the top floor, overlooking the cathedral, no complaints there, except for a door to the adjacent room.
Breakfast was quite decent, even though the dining room is a bit small. No on site parking, but there is an open air car park about 100m away. The staff tried their best to be helpful, but there usually was only one person at the desk. It did not really help when both the lifts broke down at 8pm and I had to climb the stairs up nine floors. For the rates they charge, they could have put more people on.
Overall, a decent business hotel, but nothing to write home about.More
