Over the road from the Mint. Nice garden to sit in for a beer and a meal . Great Pizzas quick and friendly service and prices not bad for Perth

“A popular pub that caters for all requirements”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

This was recommended to us as a good, local drinking place that provided decent food at reasonable prices.

It’s a large pub with a spacious bar showing sports on a large screen, another room which appeared to be more of a restaurant, and an outside area. It gets crowded at weekends, particularly the outside area or if there is a high profile cricket/rugby match on the TV.

It does have a good menu, and although one room looked more set up for dining you can order and eat anywhere (and people were). We had a very creditable pizza.

If Perth is your first stop in Australia you will probably find it expensive, but by Perth standards it’s quite reasonably priced as everywhere is expensive! I've given it a three rating as I am comparing with other pubs in Australia, and not pubs in Perth.

“First Perth meal”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

So I give this a four but find it hard to reference against. It seemed expensive but that maybe the locale. It was OK, more a pub than a restaurant. I had pub grub so there were fairly low expectations but I came out satisfied.

“Staff that actually get to know their regulars....”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Once upon a time, the Grosvenor was one of those great old Perth pubs where you could go and catch a local gig on the weekend, you could get to know the staff and pretty much always find someone there that you know.... Today the Grosvenor no longer plays live music and it has been renovated from top top bottom, but it is still a place that feels like a 'local'. The guys who work there are so incredibly friendly and are great to chat too, there are always people that you know or recognise around and there is just so much on offer!

With what seems like a gazillion different beers on tap, lovely wines, great (large) meals, fresh, wood fired pizza, a 'beer garden', restaurant area, bar area and then an area much like the pubs in the UK where you can sit in armchairs with friends and family whilst watching the latest rugby or cricket match on the tv, this is a place that can quickly become a home away from home.

I work quite near to here which means I get to enjoy the Grosvenor like a local. I'll stop in for one of their pizza's, have watched Australia beat Wales in the rugby (too many times!) and have spent the past 3 years watching the Melbourne cup from the bar.

If you're looking for a stylish bar with an unpretentious feel, the Grosvenor is the place for you. I love it! :)

“Fantastic”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

We accidentally stumbled across The Grosvenor Pub, and what a fabulous find it was. The food was absolutely amazing - I ordered the steak and my partner had the chicken. Both meals were one of the best meals we had in Perth. Service was great, would definitely go there again. Highly recommend.
