“Interesting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2013

Yes it was interesting but the fellow who was our tour guide was very flippant and left us uncertain as to when what to do etc.
The demonstration of gold melting was very good.

“Unique visit for all the family”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

We always take oversees visitors here, but this time we took the grandchildren. It has interest for all the family. The gold pour is exciting, the gift shop has a wonderful selection for all occasions, the cafe provides a welcome pit stop and the building is of historical interest. If you are a coin collector this is the place for you.

“Western Australia's gold heritage”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

Perth Mint was established in colonial times, and the fascinating building documents the history of gold in WA. The live demonstration of ingot pouring is spectacular. The gift shop shines, as you would expect, and is a coin collectors' heaven, but the range encompasses all budgets.

“Its a secret unique place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

I have purchased so many special gifts at the Perth Mint.
If you seek something for someone having an important occasion, or you just want to show off, or even spoil yourself,
there are fabulous choices at the Perth Mint. Not mini prices because you are purchasing something unique.
Oops forgot to mention the building itself which is a wonderful heritage place. Bit special that our money is made in the WEST.

“Marvelous Mint”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

Perth's Mint is a interesting place to visit, You can see a gold ingot being made the traditional way. Buy yourself a freshly minted souvenir coin. Admire the restored building and check out its exhibits. Or you can try your hand at lifting a very large gold nugget. Have tea in its little cafe. Makes for a lovely hour or two.
