“Lunch in the Park”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

You can totally forget you are in the middle of the city from inside the Park. Luscious green lawns, tall eucalypts, water features, etc. Great place to take the kids for a run, chill out over a family picnic, romance on a rug, exercise on the bike or walk trails, its a bit of everything for everyone AND the views overlooking the city and river are incredible.

Gorgeous park with an amazing view of the city! Plenty to do but it's spread out. Kids will love it! Fantastic nature play area with water streams.

“Review of Kings Park”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

The park is the major green space in the city of Perth Western Australia (WA). It has great gift shop, the food served at its premier restaurant is generally good though on the expensive side for the backpacker. There are coffee shops etc... The park itself with the war memorial is good to walk in; are pathways to the the University of WA. The views of the Perth skyline from the War Memorial are good for taking photos whether during the day, or at night. I always take visitors to Perth there.

“Paradise in Perth”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

Kings Park is by far, Perth's most beautiful attraction. This park has so much to offer. Rio Tinto Naturescapes is a fabulous place for children of all ages to get their hands dirty and get back in touch with nature. It's an interactive bush "playground" where kids can get wet, mix "bush potions", make cubbies with sticks, wade through the creek and climb the tree hides. My children just couldn't get enough. Just remember it closes at 4pm, and kids could spend half a day there easily. The DNA Tower is a great climb and offers a fabulous lookout over the whole Perth area. The Walkway is an exciting way to see the river views and offers a lovely walk amongst the trees. Of course, the city and river views along Fraser Avenue through to the State War Memorial, are by and far the most spectacular of any around Perth.
