“Australia's most beautiful city park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2013

Is there a better mix of scenery, people from all corners of the globe and fantastic views? Arguably Kings Park is the best of all the city parks in Australia. It is beautifully landscaped, has a fantastic selection of attractions for families (plenty of playgrounds for kids and even younger teens) and fitness fanatics (jacobs ladder, bootcamps in the park). Sunrise, Sunset or a lazy Sunday afternoon - is there a better way to spend it?

Tip! If you are arriving from the Airport and nothing is yet open in Perth, make your first stop a coffee in Kings Park whilst watching the sunrise and the city come to life from above. Bus 37 from the Domestic Airport takes you directly to Kings Park (just make sure it doesn't terminate at Esplanade Busport)

“Beautiful Park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 9, 2013

Love the entrance to the park, which overlooks the city. The park is huge, many spots for picnic, bbq or any outdoor activities. A must to visit, when you are in Perth. Can just grab a wrap or chinese take away and have a quick lunch at the park, the view is breathtaking.

“Perfect views”

The amazing photos from Kings Park at night time. Sweeping views of the cityscape provide a surreal experience well worth the time to visit. Take a warm jacket as it can be cool and windy.

“Oasis in the City”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

Kings park is perfect to take in the sights of Perth's skyline. There is things to do for all ages and interests. Have a picnic on the lawns over looking the city or swan river; explore the botanic gardens which have native species from all the regions of WA; take a bush walk through the center of the park or take the kids to Synergy Park wherte they can explore the massive playground while you have a BBQ on one of the many free BBQs. Some parts of the park can get busy on weekends or school holidays but you can always find a spot away from it all if you try. A definite must visit when in Perth.

“What a huge and beautiful park”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2013

Kings Park and Botanical Gardens are vast in beauty and in size, there are many different walks, trails, play parks and sitting areas all over this park, we went by the memorial park and the views over Perth and the Swan river were beautiful. The Botanical Gardens are well looked after and the flowers are in abundance with informative plaques posted nearby. We visited in July - winter and on a sunny warm winters morning it was definately the place to be. Enjoy - Dont forget the Lotterywest walkway and the Aboriginal Art gallery both worth a visit. Parking is free and entrance to the park is free, so make good use.
