After a long flight I found Kings park a great way to recover from my jetlag. You can go for a walk or if too tired just sit down with a coffee and enjoy the scenery. There are great views of the city skyline from here. I took one of the volunteer walks and learned a lot about the local fauna and flora. Took some nice pictures of flowers, trees and birds. Awesome start of my WA trip!

Sticky Beaks is an outdoor space within Kings Park in Perth that combines a large safe playground for children with outdoor eating and a relaxed atmosphere for parents. You can spend hours there while the children go from one play area to another in a totally enclosed and shady environment. The food is good, and all proceeds from this non-profit organisation goes back into the facilities. One of our cheapest and best days out in Perth.

I was very lucky to visit Perth in June, an absolutely beautiful garden and park. Its manicured grass and all the plants are named with signs. The magical view is amazing over the city and river. So much to see and do. I loved it all.
