Perth hotels cost an arm and a leg. Seasons of Perth is perhaps one of the more affordable hotels in the Perth CBD but it still isn't cheap. They achieve this by being one of the older hotels with rooms that look a little tired. Having said that, the rooms are actually quite large and perfectly clean; they just lack things like pictures on their walls or vases on the tables. The bed was large but a little bit on the firm side. The bathroom was adequately stocked although the soap was rather drying. There was a pool which we didn't use. It looked rather small and being stuck behind a safety fence it really didn't look inviting. The staff were helpful and the location is perfect for the main shopping and business district.

Given the prices in Perth this hotel is very good value. Yes it's an older style hotel but I found the room to be very comfortable, quiet and more than adequate. It's certainly bordering on 4 star due to it's age and need of updating but there was actually nothing to complain about. The hotel is kept in a very good condition, the staff are very personable and friendly and you feel welcome here. The room itself was spotless and contained everything a newer hotel would so besides it's dated look it represents good value. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, appreciated the opening window, couch and work space. Bathroom was fine and spotless however I found the shower cubicle small and awkward due to lack of space to store toiletries. Water pressure in the shower was good but had to constantly adjust the taps to maintain temperature. The bath tub was not something I would consider using and would suggest they remove them if they do renovate, they are too low and shallow. I was very impressed by the quality of dining here. Room service was exceptional, generous, reasonably priced and fast. Breakfast buffet was fine, contained all you need and requests for soy milk and poached eggs were dealt with without fuss or difficulties as is the case in many hotels. Had no problem with the wifi connection. Location is central and I would stay again. This is a classic hotel that offers good accommodation and service to rival higher rated properties.

Stayed for 6 nights at the end of July. Location was great, within walking distance of Hay and Murray Street Malls, quick walk to Train and Bus stations. Couldn't fault the room, very spacious and decent bed. Enjoyed full buffet breakfast every morning (included in the price). Service was always all round. Would happily stay here again. The only fault was the air con was a little noisy.

Nothing to complain about, but hotel is in need of some renovations as the rooms look tired. Rooms are large and spacious with decent beds and TV. Strange that the sink is not in the bathroom, but behind the TV on the way to the bathroom.

Breakfast was good without being spectacular, as was the evening meal I had.

Staff were very good and the location is excellent for business trip if doing work in the CBD.

As all hotels in central Perth, it is expensive for what it is.

Overall good, but a bit on the 'boring' side.

Stayed for 3 days on business. Reception efficient and friendly. Room large, and seemed clean. Bed comfortable. Bathroom from the 50's.... Washbasin in room, and toilet and shower in small bathroom. Shower your basic $20 over bath type. TV is an 80's style cathode ray box, too small too see from across the room-but that doesn't matter because the reception is so poor. Breakfast was fine, good waiters. When I checked out at 5:30 am, the lifts were stuck and had to carry my bags 7 floors down to the ground floor....which left me with another reason to be unhappy.
So, on the basis of what's important to a business traveller, this hotel fails 2/3 of the essential items of bed, bathroom and TV. And at nearly $300/night in the week, this hotel represents poor value to the business traveller in my opinion.

Dear Andrew,
We appreciate your review on Tripadvisor and the time taken to do so. We have taken onboard some of your feedback and wish to address a couple of specific matters raised. We are almost near completion of upgrading all the TV's in our guest room and should have this completed in a matter of days. We are also working very closely with our local contractors to minimise the efficiency and reliability of our lifts to ensure that breakdowns such as you unfortunately experienced do not occur. It is only through our guests experiences that we can work on improving the quality and standard of services to guests. We hope that you may consider staying with us again in the future.
With kind regards,
Celeste Franklin

We stayed here for a night and found the location great. The hotel is within minutes from the mall and the train station. There are cafes just around the corner, and the chinese resturant, on Hay street, is awesome (can not remember the name). The rooms are not big, but if you are exploring, it should not matter. The hotel seems old, and could do with a bit of attention. The price is double what I would pay for this hotel, but considering the location and the fact that Perth is in need of accommodation, is ok. To park your car, it will cost you $28 extra, which should be included as there is no where out the front.

Dear Shizane,
Thank you for your recent review, we are happy to hear that in general you enjoyed your stay with us and the convenience of location to everything in Perth CBD. By the way the name of the Restaurant around the corner on Hay Street is called the Corner Cafe and they offer Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Cambodian style cuisine. We appreciate and value your feedback of which we seriously take on board. We look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you back sometime in the future.

The hotel is situated a stones throw from some great pubs and restaurants and a great location if you want to go shopping.

The hotel could perhaps do with a makeover, but the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and the amenities are all there. The reception isn't much to look at, but they make up for this with great service.

I've been to this hotel perhaps 4 times over the span of 8 years or so. That speaks for itself.

I've never used half of the facilities so can't comment too much on that. Parking was easy enough with an enclosed area, safe enough for rentals.

Many hotels in Perth, but this one has great facilities for the money.

Room Tip: I didn't use the Spa or eat breakfast (jetlag) but I'm sure they are good....
