We stayed 5 nights on th 8th floor king 1 bedroom hotel apartment via a wotif deal @ $150.00 per night .

Our apartrment had river views comfortable beds all fittings and fixtures were in good order and repair
The apartment was serviced each day (without any drama ) whilst we were out site seeing and most pleasant to come sick to each afternoon

Anytime we called on the hotel staff for advice or assistance the response was excellent
Had a couple drinks in the lobby bar rtestaurant and the prices were in line with local pubs with much more personalised service and more comfortable ambience
Free Internet available in a room in the lobby complete and free wifi for your own gear in the same area was very quick
Hotel is well situated for a 6 minutes or so minute walk to central downtime and very close to the buses for free inner city transport CCAT shuttle
Both yellow and red free CAT buses also within a short walk with the yellow route up and down Wellington st in our opinion the better alternative
.we had overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay and yes we would do again .Very good breakfast at the restauarnt and quite good facilities such as pool,Gym & Tennis court on siite
.

I have stayed here a few times for work, and while the location close to the convention centre is handy, there are better hotels for the price. The apartments are spacious, they all have little balconies, and the security isn't all that brilliant although I've never had any trouble there. The parking is free - that's a huge bonus when comparing to other hotels in the city - please take into account the cost of parking when comparing prices. The rooms are a bit rickety, and the furnishings are worn. The restaurant is a funny shape, but the food is good and the service great. The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the convention centre - not recommended if you're on your own at night, but otherwise no problems. It's a fair way from any nightlife in Perth - recommend a cab if you're on your own.

We had two weeks in Perth for work with me, wife and 2yo. Had 2br apartment, no aircon in 2nd room, and 40degC on the day we arrived. We could have reached out and touched the freeway. Finishes were worn, dated and tardy. Furniture was from a garage sale. Cooking facilities were ok but utensils and pans were either such poor quality or not there (nothing to bake with!) so you wouldn't want to cook there. No digital tv...and I don't mean foxtel, I mean terrestrial only, and unwatchable such poor reception. Pool was under the freeway, terrace overlooked the freeway, noise from the freeway meant we couldn't open the windows or doors, basically like a scene from a down and out in Detroit movie. Mould in the shower recess, plastic bath, 2 single beds pushed together as a double. What is going through their heads? And $400 a night! We left after 2 nights and stayed elsewhere. Cheap and poor is ok, expensive and good is ok, expensive and terrible is...Perth. Wait til you buy a steak or a coffee! Take me back east!

Room Tip: Opposite end of the complex to the freeway, or somewhere else

The room was old and the air conditioning wasn't working properly. It needs a renovation. Breakfast was bland. Only nice thing was room had two balconies and the back balcony had a nice forest behind.

I stayed here with my family of 5 persons as part of my relocation package for 7 days. As we are a larger family we had luxury accomodation in the top floor apartment with its own roofterrace. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The facility is of high standard but disappointing was the very limited cutlery. A few plates only and in one size and just enough spoons and forks and knifes. So regular dishwashings as also the dishwasher was faulty. The first 2 nights were very hot as there was a heatwave in Perth and the airco in bedroom took 2 days to fix.
The view from the apartment however was breathtaking and the cleaning was good. Reception staff friendly and helpful. The roofgarden was phenomenal but for children outright dangerous as the barrier to prevent falling off the roof is very low. To my surprise it complied with AU regulations!
A big point of criticism was that for a nightly price of $700, ( employer paid this), there is no Internet included. Internet can be bought over Tomizone for 8$ per hour. I find this outrageous in 2013 especially given the high roomrate.
The location of the hotel is great with easy access to the CBD, major highways and public transport
All in all a good experience for us, but I understand from other reviews here that it may be different in apartments on other floors.

Room Tip: Top floor with roofgarden, but be ready to pay 700 $ per night plus 8$ per hour for Internet !

We are visting our family in Pert once a year and it was the first time we decided to stay in a Mounts Bay Apartment. We were very pleased with our choice. he 2 bedroom apartment was very modern with great beds and good kitchen and internal laundry. The facilities in the hotel are very good include tennis court & restaurant. Good on site security and good value. We liked the breakfast and will be happy to come back.

Great place for families or couples in a central Perth water front area. just on the edge of the city with a free bus shuttle taking you to various attractions in the Perth area.
We had a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment with a balcony, overlooking the pool. The kitchen is well equipped enough to cook a family meal, good internal laundry . The rooms are large, with loads of cupboard space & there was a washing machine & tumble drier in one of the bathrooms. Air con in the main room cools the whole apartment. Pool is unheated but clean and a good size.
We were on the 3rd The insulation is good too as there was no noise at all from surrounding apartments. There is a safe entry system to the reception area which operates 24 hours a day so it was very safe, which we thought was great, but the area felt safe anyway. We would denifately stay here again if we went to Perth. It was clean bright & fresh. Higly recommended espcially for families.
