We bopoked online for a night at the Hilton...at a great rate of $109 for a twin room. Managed to get an early check in at 1pm as well.
When we arrived the reception staff were very frindly and offered to upgrade us to a king room for a mere $30 which we took.
The room was spacious as was the bath room. We think it was a disabled room as it seemed to be set up for someone in a wheelchair...but was perfectly fine.

The only bizzare thing in the room was a wall of missmatched paintings...seemed like an attempt to do something different...they should have not bothered.
Room was well equipted...large LCD tv, desk, couch and small table. The room and hallways seemed to have just had the carpet replaced as it smelled very new...looks like they maybe in the process of upgrading the rest of the decor as well.
all in all a great night...the bed was very comfortable, great blockout blinds and very quiet.
Will definately stay again.

We stayed at the Parmelia Hilton just last week for 2 nights on a great rate via Wotif. The room was small but perfectly adequate. It was very clean. Bed was comfortable. There were no issues with the carpet and furniture and fixtures. The staff were very friendly. I did not feel like a second-class citizen despite the very low rate paid for the room. Housekeeping was fantastic. The location is very central and within walking distance to the malls and nearby CAT bus stop. Overall, I recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again for the same low rate!

My husband attended the North American Thorasic Society conference in Perth and I was so fortunate to have travelled with him. Perth is the most amazing city with lots to do and see. The beaches are like the Carribean and the food was of good quality. We loved the Casino in Perth too.

The Parmelia Hilton has the most wonderful location very central and close to all the shopping and bus routes. The hotel rooms are clean and the breakfast is too amazing. The staff were friendly too.

Stayed here for five nights. Wonderfully helpful concierge, Harry ??.
Room was small and very dated, bathroom looking very tired, not 5 star!
Waiters in restaurant are busy talking to each other and laughing.
Manager was intoxicated at the bar one night ??
Breakfast was overpriced for what it was.
Not the same as before, I will not be back.

Stayed here for two nights. When I arrived I was greated by a wonderfully helpful concierge (I believe the same grey-haired gentleman mentioned in a previous review) and taken thru checkin very efficiently. Room service and restaurant staff were excellent as well. I have stayed at a number of Perth hotels and given the location and great service I would definitely stay here again.
Rooms are quite small; only just enough room to get a room service tray thru the door, the bathroom needs refurbishment and the rooms could definitely be updated.

My husband and I stayed here in November as part of a 3 week trip to Australia. We were disappointed with this hotel and would be unlikely to stay here again. Service at the reception was slow and staffed served business travellers before leisure travellers. Room was small and very dated. Bathroom was old, and tatty. Hotel was based in the CBD which is fine for weekdays but at weekend's cafe's and small shops close. The gym was closed for our stayed and they set up a temporary site in one of the hotel rooms - very odd. To be honest not a leisure hotel.

We stayed 1 night as we were enroute back to Sydney from Bali. We booked our rooms via wotif.com and got a great rate. Stayed at this hotel over 20 yrs ago and I have forgotten how small the rooms were. Bathroom was looking very tired and certainly not 5 star. Was hoping to get a connecting room as we were travelling with teenagers but the best we got was 2 room with one room between us. Could have been worse. Reception did try though. Was a bit disappointed as we paid and confirmed 9 days before with the request. Over all happy with location. I like to mention the gentleman that brought our bags up to our room...He showed us what a bit of our fashion service was all about. He had white hair and was probably in his 60'. we were happy with the price we paid for the hotel but would have been disappointed if we had to paid more.
