“perfect if you like an overpriced, poor excuse for a meal”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

Overpriced. Food was terrible. Specified Greek salad with no olives, came out with olives and no fetta. Fish not cooked in certain sections (chef said this is how they do it..?). Not my first bad experience here either. Will not return.

“breakfast great !! dinner bad”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

stayed at the sebel so used the restaurant for breakfast both days the morning staff were fantastic and the food nice , set menu as was a package deal but was beautifully cooked TOTALLY DIFFERENT FOR DINNER :( was squashed up against a wall way to close to other diners to the point were we eat in silence as did the couple next to us as we all were aware that every word we said could be heard , food was ok but nothing special thankfully we had the entertainment card so the bill was not to bad but if we had paid full price i would have felt ripped off , they didn't put on the air conditioning so it was so hot and made eating unpleasant suffice to say we had gone out for a full evening dinner and only ordered a main course and left within 45 mins would not go again for dinner

“Just Awful”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

Don't waste your money, poor menu, poor food, cheap cuts of meat badly cooked, overpriced, service was non existent. The inside was so hot and stuffy and they wouldn't put the air con on, dreadful in hot conditions. I have tried this place several times in the hope it would improve but NO I think it's worse. Never Again!!

“Anniversary treat”
Reviewed January 28, 2013

We booked in for our anniversary lunch with the parents, in the restaurant section. The meals were terrific and the prices seemed on par with what many of the restaurants demand at the moment. The view, being on the water in Mandurah is fantastic and although there were very few people in the serviced restaurant area the pub section was very busy. If the occasion is special the restaurant is perfect, with staff who were extremely concious of where we were at with drinks etc and who did not intrude...if you are not that hungry the outside and bar areas are more relaxed and casual with a pretty good menu available. They make great cocktails!

“Overpriced & chefs can't remember menu!”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

We started off well with the dips & bread. My husband's flounder was good but as we discovered when the table next to our received the same dish - he hadn't received any of the accompaniments! The waiter blamed the sous chef who didn't realise the specials had changed! My son was delivered the wrong meat dish so had to wait whilst they rectified the dish. Again they blamed the specials menu & the chef didn't realise the change. My chicken skewers were tough & fatty - no nice chicken breast used here! Dessert was disappointing - we ordered the Italian cassata and I swear it was the frozen variety I could have bought myself from Azzura Gelati rather than them plating it up with some coulis and charging $13.50! The caramel nut tart was like eating a jar of smooth peanut butter - also could've saved our money and bought a jar of Kraft peanut paste. Won't be going back!
Ps waiter was friendly & helpful but smelt like he had just come from the pub!
