Wait staff were friendly and efficient. Both our dishes were tasty, and they staff happy to substitute accompaniments to better suit my tastes. Prices reasonable. Would have given full marks, but coffee wasn't great (although they happily made me another cup, it still didn't taste right)

We found Oliver's by accident the first time - it was late on Friday night and everything was closing around us. However, the waitstaff at Oliver's were very welcoming - even when we realized we were the last people in the restaurant. In addition, the food was excellent and great value (e.g., 1/2 litre sangria for $12). We liked it so much we went back a couple of days later - and it was still excellent.

Visited this establishment in January 2011 with my family. We were a party of five. Waitress who approached us was pleasant although her command of English was poor. She found it difficult to understand us when we asked her to explain in more detail what the 'Special dishes' on offer were. Another waitress came but her English was not much better. We ordered our food and waited. Two vacant tables close to us were subsequently occupied, orders were placed and these patrons were served their food. We still waited and no food came. We called the waitress again and explained our annoyance at not being served. She offered no apologies but returned moments later and said the food was on its way. Five minutes later the food arrived. None of us enjoyed the meal. We complained especially about the service (or rather lack of it!!). By this time, other patrons who had arrived after us, had eaten and left the restaurant. Our complaint resulted in the withdrawal of the service charge but not a word of apology. The lack of courtesy and consideration of their patrons by the management of this establishment suggests a level of arrogance and rudeness which will ultimately be their downfall. I shall not be surprised or disappointed when this happens.

We were a party of nine including guests from overseas so it was important to us that the evening went well. We hadn't been before but had noticed that the restaurant always had many patrons. We were very well looked after, the wait staff did an excellent job. The food met all expectations with good size serves. The menu has a good variety of dishes. I can recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back.
