“Headless chooks serving”
Reviewed May 24, 2013

Been there three times. Great location but impossible to get service even when it's empty. The Royal is next door. Friday it's full. Partisan is empty. I wonder why?

“Great Spot good food”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

four of us went to the partisan on a wet and windy friday evening. We booked a table outside but the restaurant were happy to change that to an inside table due to the weather. The restaurant is situated on the waterfront in East Perth, overlooking Claisebrook key. It would be sensational in the summer months sitting outside. We ordered the tasting plate to start with with. This was a well stocked wooden board loaded with excellent well chosen food. it was more than enough for the four of us. the winelist is not huge but the choices were well picked. The food menu also is not huge but there is something there for everyone, there is always less agonising with a compact menu!! we went for two steaks a fish special and Spatchcock. all choices were well cooked and well received. The service was professional and unhurried. definitely one to return to in the summer

“Pinching ourselves-are we in Perth?”
Reviewed May 18, 2013 via mobile

We took an out of town friend for lunch on a sunny winters day. Stunning waterside terrace setting , friendly efficient service, interesting menu, reasonable prices (delighted to see mains under $20), delicious food (best chips, generous shareplatter with quality ingredients) , attention to detail (someone cares) , hip recycled retro style. Our new favorite place!

“Good food, service & setting”
Reviewed May 12, 2013

Had lunch here with friends a week ago, and found it to be a pleasant experience. The outdoor setting overlooking Claisebrook Cove is beautiful. A lovely way to enjoy fresh air, while the umbrellas keep out the direct sun.

I had a modified croque monsieur sandwich, since I don't eat cheese, and the waitress very efficiently changed it for me to accommodate my request. She was very helpful and friendly. It ended up being a toasted ham, tomato and avocado sandwich, which was very tasty. I did find a small hair in there though, which is why I am not giving 5/5. The side order of fries was delicious. My other friends had the mussels and a schnitzel sandwich, and they seemed satisfied with their meals.

I have also been here for late night drinks in the past and have always had a pleasant experience. I would not have a problem returning here in future for food and/or drinks.
