Took my family on a cruise from a trip to Melbourne. We had a fantastic time and we were certainly surprised at the quality of the food.

“Fantastic Friendly.”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

Nice 3 hour luncheon cruise along the Swan river from Fremantle to Perth and back.
Great scenery, nice atmosphere, and very friendly service.
The buffet lunch was very nice.
The staff were very accommodating with the birthday cake for my wife, the timing was perfect.
All the kids made a huge mess with the cake, and there was no complaints from the staff, (we apologise for that).
So a Huge Thank You to Captain Cook Cruises, we will be looking forward to returning.

Kind Regards,
Tas C.

“Enjoyable cruise on the Swan River to Fremantle”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

We decided to take the one hour cruise from Perth to Fremantle down the Swan River.

Various options exist, return cruise, one way, dine and cruise, vineyard tous etc. We chose a return trip at AUD$35 per person.

Two decks both air conditioned were available with outside seating at the rear – board early to get best pick. A small bar was situated upstairs for purchases.

As our trip was the lunchtime departure, most of the reserved downstairs was taken by guest on the dining option.

Our ticket price included free tea or coffee, which was a nice touch. Basic coffees only (lattes etc may be purchased) and the tea choice included green which was appreciated.

We returned to Perth on the 15.30 departure, which happened to include a free wine tasting. OK, whilst the measures were small single shot sized, you served yourself and could freely try all three wines. Nobody appeared greedy and there was enough for those that wished to partake.

Good commentary both ways. Interesting and in bite sized chunks, rather than a non stop monologue.

If you ask nicely at the bar, small kids (and big adults) can go up to the front and meet the captain.

A nice cruise, not overlong so no getting bored and with interesting commentary. Plenty to see on the way, dolphins included.
