Housed in a beautiful old building constructed in 1907, this restaurant has interior decor to match. Dim lighting and easy listening music complete the ambience. The staff are friendly...though ancillary plates and empty beer bottle was not cleared from the table when completed and there was a bit too much noise coming from the kitchen. Bread with condiments and some other nibblies were complimentary. The scotch fillet steak I had for main was just okay. But the chocolate plate I had for dessert was sensational (one of the most delicious desserts I have ever tasted)..so I'm going to have to give 1907 five stars.
