Description: The Resort's Executive Chef Joji Iwama invites you on a culinary journey to his homeland, Japan. The Resort's new pop-up restaurant 'Zensai' (meaning small pretty things) is open for dinner from Friday to Tuesday from 5.30Pm until late. Create your own dining experience by selecting an array of dishes or simply order 'Omakase' - which means leave it to us! Enjoy a sample of traditional favourites from fresh sashimi to tempura, yaki-tori and yaki-ton.

We took the decastation and enjoyed every minute of it. Highlights were the wagu beef, sashimi, popcorn chicken and green tea ice tea. Expensive but enjoyable.

I have been many times to serious Japanese Restaurants in Sydney and in Melbourne. Zelsie ( I mean it ) equals or surpasses these. The attention to detail and the flavours were perfect. Dave n Tanya are front of house and are perfectly enraging. Where on earth did this culinary oasis appear in this red desert ? Phil n Di.

This is a mainly Asian cuisine restaurant located within the Cable Beach Resort. Without doubt it was the highlight of our 3 day stay. Take advice when selecting your food and discuss options with the delightful and very knowledgeable waitress who manages this restaurant with her partner.

Highly recommended. Worth a visit to dine, especially if you are staying near by or have your own transport. Booking recommended as the restaurant is small.

Tiny & tucked away at Cable Beach Club Resort, this is Japanese at its best. Great menu, very friendly staff & great service. We’ll be back

We chose the six course degustation. The first few courses were really hard to divide so that we could both taste everything. What is the point of food to share when you can’t share it? Quality of food was very good. Overall not the evening that we were hoping for.
