Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to visit Willie Creek last year - but this year it was top of the list, and we loved it! My wife chose the Pearl she has been looking for, and the trip out on the boat proved worthwhile as got a glimpse of a croc!
Highly recommend visiting willie creek pearl farm!

We went on the self drive tour which means you hire a 4W drive and head to the open dirt road out of Broome for about one hour. You must book. Once you arrive the tour lasts about 2 hour's. Very informative and friendly staff with a boat ride on the Creek included. You can also take a helicopter ride at an extra cost. We had a great time!

They say it is Diamonds are a girl's best friend... but this proved that it is Pearl's.

My husband and I hired a 4WD and did a self drive which was fun.
When we got there we were greeted by the very friendly staff.

We were taken to a little gazebo and introduced to all about the history of pearls and the production of them. The talk was informative, fascinating, interesting and humorous!!!

Before heading out on a boat we were treated to some light refreshments including home made damper which was spectacular.....made with beer!!!!

We had an interesting boat tour showing us pearls being maufactured out in the water and also information about the Willie Creek area...fascinating.

We were also given a talk back inside their showrrom and the opportunity to purchase some beautiful Willie Creek pearls.

Considering Broome's tie to the Pearling Industry, this is again another 'must do' thing while visiting here.

I was surprised how much we enjoyed the tour. We did the self drive tour and it was an easy drive in our hired 4wd. We learnt lots about pearls and the pearling industry from our informative guide and enjoyed the morning tea.
