Traveled to Broome from Darwin for family wedding, found the Blue Seas Resort to be a no fuss stay, everything we needed was in the apartment. No parking hassles although a little tight. Apartment was big enough for both boys 16/18. Would be happy to stay here again.

Dear RedfishDarwin

We hope that you all enjoyed the wedding! We are glad that you and your family felt so comfortable in our apartments. We feel fortunate to be equipped to accommodate up to 4 adults per room, and do find that many people also take advantage of this, freeing up some spending money to enjoy the local Broome attractions!

I travelled with my extended family to the Blue Seas, stayed in 3 Villas and had a wonderful time. My Mother had 1 villa, my sister and her family (2 kids under 10) in another and we were in the third with our 3 yo. I was concerned how we would go with our son on the fold up bed, ie what would we do once he was asleep, but as the weather was so nice we were able to sit outside on the balcony or around the pool and you were still only paces away from the room.
The proximity to the beach was fabulous and the pools while not large were a nice relief after the walk back.

Perfect place to stay in one of Australia's truly perfect spots. Rooms were large, comfortable with every facility. Extremely quiet especially when doors were closed as they are brick built unlike most buildings in Broome. Everything one needed and just a short walk to one of Australia's most pristine beaches,
Management was friendly but unobtrusive.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Blue Seas Resort and were more than happy with the apartments. They were very clean and modern and had everything you could need. The only tiny gripe I would have would be that I rang the Resort before we arrived to ask if they had hairdryers and the person didn't know, so I asked if they could email me when they found out but no email was received. So I took my own hairdryer along only to find that they do have one in the bathroom. Overall very enjoyable.

We are a family of 4 and have stayed at Blues Seas on numerous occassions and will continue to stay here when we come to Broome. The property is only a short walk to the beach and offers fanatastic well maintained amenities. The resort is family managed by Grant and Nigel (father and son)and are very service orientated and hands on with the running of the premises. With regards to noise we didnt have any problems and we were located adjacent to the backpackers and after 10pm when their bar shuts you could hear a pin drop so if you stay here I wouldnt be too concerned with which room you were allocated. All in all a excellent choice if you come to Broome.

I must say I was disappointed with The Blue Seas 'Resort' after reading all the other reviews on TripAdvisor. I found the apartment to be very comfortable but quite dated and in need of modernising. Calling itself a 'resort' is a bit much - there is no bar or restaurant or any other facilites - it's just a few blocks of apartments with 2 pools! The pools were nice - but even in the Broome heat I found them to be too cold - it was freezing and doesn't heat up as it is shaded from the sun. Reception is only open until 5pm so we had to collect our key from a safe - not a very warm welcome! We were quite unfortunate in that we arrived at about 8pm and were being collected early the next moring for a day trip to the Kimberley so we had no opportunity to get something for breakfast. The blue seas provides no food except take-away microwave dinners which are only avaliable while reception is open, and the only shop closes early - so we had to go hungry! The location is handy for Cable Beach and there are some very nice dining options nearby, but I must say I found this 'resort' to be very over-priced.

Dear VDU

Thank you for your review and I am sorry that you felt that our accommodation was overpriced. It was a shame that you could not stay longer as I believe that the self-contained nature of our accommodation with full kitchen facilities may have provided the opportunity to make meals in your apartment and save a little on eating out in Broome.

I hope you enjoyed your tour of the magnificent Kimberley and that you do return and give us the opportunity to provide a different experience at Blue Seas Resort. We have certainly given consideration to your comments and will ensure that our compendium is up to date with details of nearby restaurants and delivery services to ensure this does not occur again.

Hotel in great location, only a 5 minute walk from Cable Beach, and even less to the Zoo Cafe (great for breakfast/lunch) and the new Zeebar (drinks/dinner).

Rooms were clean, service fantastic. Couple of pools in the complex are a great place for recovering from the famous Broome heat (although it's a popular hotel with young families so don't expect tranquility and poolside cocktails).

One piece of advice - request a room on the Cable Beach side of the resort... the other side backs onto a backpackers' hostel and can be noisy at nighttime...
