This restaurant is only open weekend hours during the dry season - I think 12 weekends in all. The restaurant is out of Broome at a place called 12 mile and is run by a husband and wife team. He works (his butt off) out the front of house and she does a brilliant job in the kitchen cooking the meals (also working hard I should imagine). You need to make a booking. The tables are outside but undercover, as with most outside places in Broome don't forget to take Mozzie repellant!
Service is slow - it's only the owner doing all the service but that's the charm of the place, take a walk around the garden area and look up at the night sky and take a few bottles of wine - enjoy the serenity. We had a thai red beef curry and the chicken satay stickswith rice - yum ($28.00 per main course) no charge for bringing your own wine. Cost is about usual for Broome - but is definately one of the better meals we have had here in Broome.
