Maybe consider heating the pool by solar,it was far to cold to enjoy more than a quick splash.
maybe a little more attention to detail there were areas in the room that had been missed when being prepared for new guests eg behind the bed and the day bed were very dusty,we walked in bare feet and found the floor to be dirty also .on a least one occasion we had to ask for supplies for the room as it had not been attended to by late afternoon.orders got mixed up in resturant, but was attended to,Thankyou for caring.

Am currently staying in the Mercure Broome and am unable to shower as there is no hot water. Unfortunately the reception does not open until 7am, so I am unable to report this. My room appears to be geared for disabled access, which means the bathroom is incredibly basic. Have stayed at most other hotels in Broome and this is by far the worst experience I have had.

Good location but not great for children. Thehadn't planned the layout well with furniture and had the tall boy over hanging the bathroom door considerably which is tacky all they needed to do was move the tv higher and it would have been ok. Generally good hotel but the chef let them down in a big way.

The hotel is conveniently located near Town Beach and the bus stop and very good value for money. While I would definitely recommend the hotel there was a problem with the bathroom on our second visit. We had a deluxe pool room on the groundfloor which had disabled facilities. While it may have been great for someone in a wheelchair the bathroom was badly designed when it came to able-bodied people. The bathroom floor was flat so shower water spilled over the whole bathroom and there was no benchtop for one's toiletries. Our first stay in a superior pool room on the 3rd floor was much better. Restaurant service is not very good and at breakfast we had to keep asking for utensils and for buffet food that had run out and not been replaced.
