Our guide pointed out changes to the point from the cyclones over the years. The red of the point is like a child chose the colour. We saw fantastic giant manta rays skimming below the surface of the water, like large black birds dancing on thermals under the water. The grace and elegance was something to behold. How anyone who is not used to the driving conditions gets to the point in a car is beyond me. A bus or car coming the other way can make it hairy, depending on the day.

Spectacular rock formations and a photographers paradise.
I could not believe the colour of the rocks and the colour of the water in the background. A place to explore and to just sit awhile and soak up the fact that you are on the Kimberley coast.

We visited here to see the dinosaur footpoints at low tide. Not having had a car, we had to get a taxi (the only way there) which was very expensive and limited our time. The walk down to the footprints is challenging and we relied on fellow travellers to point the way. The place is remarkable and would be worth investing more, putting more information, signs etc in place. Also, why not offer a bus service?

We came, we saw (one set of dinosaur footprints) and conquered (the climb up and down the mossy rocks). Lost our thongs so didn't get to properly take in the stunning sunset. The red rocks are a sight for sore eyes though.
