This was quite an epic adventure into the Kimberleys. A beautiful view of the real outback Australia, corrugated dirt roads which the bus handled amazingly well, the driver/guide was very experienced and gave us a great day. We saw crocodiles and stunning scenery at Windjana Gorge and baby crocs hiding in the crevices in Tunnel Creek. A very long day but it gave us a taste of the Kimberleys and we want to go back.

Excellent in every way. I rarely do group tours preferring independence but Don our driver/tour guide was a mine of fascinating, knowledgeable and balanced information whether discussing the ecology, solar system or Indigenous issues. The scenery and various community visits all brilliant and the swim at CL most welcome. Many thanks KW and Don especially for a terrific day out.

Picked up on time at 06.20 and we didn't get back until 16 hours later.
But it was worth it.
Knowledgeable guide who could perhaps had given more background information as we drove along.
Wonderful biscuits at the morning tea stop.
Windjana Gorge was stunning with plenty of crocs to see. And a lovely lunch was waiting for us when we returned to the bus.
Tunnel Creek was amazing. This is where you have to wade through water that was up to thigh level. There are a number of stretches of water to wade through and the surface in-between was quite painful when walking with bare feet if your feet are soft. On reflection, the best option for us would have been to wear sandals and then take them off to wade through the water.
A lovely natural pool awaited us at the end of the underground walk. Lovely to swim in although not very deep.
Dinner was extra at a roadhouse on the way back and the quality was consistent with that of a roadhouse.
Tired but excited at the end of the day.

Fantastic overall experience. Our tour host Niki never stopped working hard to make us comfortable and always added a personal touch. Loved the histories of the region from our driver, Brenton - and his expert 4WD skills. The way the tour was planned and conducted show their experience. And of course the Kimberley itself is just amazing.

I recently had the pleasure of two different day tours with Kimberley Wild Expeditions.
I would like to give a big thumbs up to the 4WD drivers/guides.
Alyssa and Ross were a credit to the Company.
Their history knowledge was well researched and how they related it to us, took us on a journey back I time.
Their passion and respect for the the environment was uplifting.
Alyssa's happy and thoughtful manner brought us together as a group and made the day extra special.
I would like to give them both a big thumbs up.

From the moment our tour guide Don picked us up we knew we were in for a great day. Don was extremely informative and had many interesting stories to share. The tour was just as advertised we went to Beagle Bay, Cygnet Bay Pearls with a tour, chance to taste oyster meat and purchase from their shop. We went to One Arm Point Aquaculture and learnt some interesting facts about the fish in the area and marvel at the trocha shells. we visited Kooljaman and had a chance to dip in the warm ocean. We stayed on the bus for the journey back to Broome. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip however as stated in the brochure if you have a bad back or don't like long journeys then this isn't the trip for you. But I can guarantee if you go you won't be disappointed.Thank you Don and Kimberley Wild we had an amazing day out.

This is a great trip if you are visiting the top of Western Australia . Very knowledgeable tour operator who drove veery well on dirt roads. This trip included a healthy lunch. We also visited a couple of Indigenous communities who were very hospitable.

I went the same day as the other recent reviewer, but took the options of a 'giant tides' cruise and flight back. The giant tides cruise is not the Horizontal Waterfalls but when the tide is flowing through the area this cruise takes you to is amazing to see all the same. The sea almost looks like it is boiling in places and flows faster than almost any river other than one in mountains in full spate. The tour of the pearl farm at Cygnet Bay was fascinating (different guide here to other reviewer - Naiomi (apologies spelling) and the flight back showing off (e.g.) red cliffs at sunset was brilliant. I should also mention that the 2 guides from Kimberley Tours were also great.

Alyssa, our guide, was well organised and very knowledgeable about the aboriginal culture of the region. Everything went very well, great lunch and beautiful scenery. Well worth the visit to these remote areas.
