Went there for Coffee one morning after my usual haunt's machine broke down,
Ordered a large flat white. One of my pals ordered a skinny cap. He was told they didn't serve skinny Coffee.

Place emptied while we were there.

They refused point blank to split the bill even though there were no other customers in the place.
They charged $7 for a large flat white. Are they crazy? This must be one of the most expensive Coffees in Australia. The Cable Beach Club only charge $4.50 with a beautiful view. Matsos charge $4.50 as well and they have fans and A/C indoors. The Arli has no fans, no A/C, no sea breeze or view and they charge through the nose.
Make your mind up whether you want high prices and to sit there sweating with nothing to look at or be charged reasonable rates and have some form of keeping cool when it is 37c and high humidity and a view.

We were disappointed in The Aarli. 17 A$ for some pieces of deep fried squid (really only 2 table spoons) and 16A$ for 6 ridiculously small spare ribs.
We will give itba miss next time. Far too expensive.
Service was nice; backpackers doingbthe work... But we felt ripped off. If you want a substantial tapas style meal, I wouldn't go there.

We were pleasantly surprised with the food and staff at Aarli. It was a great brunch place recommended to us by locals and it lived up to its reputation. My friend had scrambled eggs with salmon which she really enjoyed and I had the egg and bacon wrap which was delicious. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The service was excellent, although we had a late-ish lunch and it was pretty quiet. The food came out quite quickly and I've got to say it was sensational! We had a pizza to share with the zucchini fritters and the pear, pecan & rocket salad. Each dish was extremely tasty. The only possible fault was that the pizza wasn't sliced properly. I would definitely recommend it.
