“Great location but really not worth the trip...”
Reviewed June 29, 2009

Eco beach is at a great location - my villa was over looking the ocean - very relaxing sitting on the verandah all day reading. The villa was lovely inside and the bathroom also lovely. I think the villa was the best part of our stay.

But - there is nothing eco about Eco Beach. A tractor was on the beach for both days that I was there reversing boats into the water and leaving deep ditches in the sand.

All of our electricity was controlled by a touch screen by the door - with one speed for the fans - bat out of hell or nothing - and the lights were so dim at night we couldnt read at night. On the last day we couldnt use the touch screen because it wasnt operating.

The food was terrible - totally over priced and there was nothing nice about it. There is no option but to have the buffet - it costs $45 for dinner and it was terrible both nights I was there. The music is attrocious in the restaurant - it is on a half our loop from the 60's - the same loop was playing for our whole stay.

Staff were extremley friendly but when we requested tea and coffee top ups for our rooms we waited three hours and asked three times until someone finally came to our room to deliver it.
