This is a very large van park ( over 500 sites) with very small sites. It accommodates a big number of vans for peak season but lacks any atmosphere whatsoever. On the plus side the check in staff while very busy were very helpful & pleasant. There is plenty of shade but you get, a spot for the van, awning & car but there is very little space around you & the next van, sardine tin comes to mind. Access roads are narrow & exit points very tight for a van. We luckily didn't prebook & could only stay two nights so we were more than happy to move on to another park. It is walking distance to the beach although not that close, but there is plenty of parking at the beach if you need to drive from elsewhere. There are lots of southern folks well entrenched for the season on "their" site. Would I stay there again? No! All the Broome parks could do with a big upgrade, especially for the prices charged. The Broome Caravan Park has some reno's underway.

Room Tip: Back end of park while further from beach is probably the best section

This is our second stay here. two years ago it cost us $44 a night, now it's $52 a night-it's just getting too much for us. 2 years ago we stayed 9 nights, this time 5 and I'm suspecting it'll be two next time round! The large sites are really well shaded and the pool is lovely. The park has lots of ablution blocks and two dump points. It's a nice walk to cable beach but a fair old drive (7 ks into the actual town of Broome).

What a wonderful place to stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The site we had was very large and close to the amenities, with a lovely view of the pool. We would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Broome.

We stayed on an unpowered tent site for a week. The sites were a reasonable size with plenty of shade.

We didnt really use the kitchen other than the fridges. The only slightly annoying thing was that the kitchen was locked at night.

The showers/toilets were clean and there were lots of them.

We spent most of our time at the beach which was either a 2-minute drive or 5 to 10-minute walk.

We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 days. We camped in a tent right next to the pool specifically for our young kids. Let me say from the get go the pool is what you would expect to find at a 5 star resort, awesome. The park its self is massive in fact we were told not to worry about booking as they never fill up and now I can see why. Our site was quite sandy and no grass but that was our choice as there were plenty of other spots and if so desired you could have a large area to your self. Showers are massive and best I have seen in a park fire some time as was the general conditions of the ablutions. BBQ facilities were great and we took full advantage of them. We paid $43 pn for a powered site and would be happy to do so again.
