Went to this restaurant twice now, and the latest one was for a birthday gig.
The food itself was fantastic. I especially liked the spicy pork belly, marinated chicken,ox tongue and their bulgogi and being cooked with coal just adds an extra depth to the flavour. I also liked their kimchi pancake. All simply delicious, but considering the price they charge to the portion that they give you.. I found it very expensive.. for about 6 medium to thin slices of spicy pork belly will cost about 18-20 dollars... JUST for those slices.. so i'm not quite sure it's that delicious to worth that much... probably not. So be prepared to blow up some big bucks.
Their service is just OK... considering most of the foods they serves are raw and pre-marinated meats... they are quite slow and also slow to actually top up the side dishes (kimchi, bean sprouts,etc.). The ironic bit of all... we got most of our meats to our table... but the coal pot to cook them on was no where to be found... took them an extra 10-15 minutes before they even notice and get the pot to our table... hmmmmm...
Overall.. enjoyed the foods thoroughly !! but i'm just not sure it's worth the price tag they have.
