I dined at this restaurant with some friends on Valentine's Day , hence the place was buzzing with couples, nevertheless the service was very good The interior is most interesting, I presume it was previously a warehouse and is quite unpretentious. The staff were welcoming and happy to help with recommendations of food and wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the polenta gnocci was excellent, my striploin of beef was cooked perfectly to my taste and the mushroom and red wine jus was great. As a side, we had a green salad with pear and goat's cheese, an excellent suggestion by the waitress. Even though our seats at the communal table were booked for the second sitting of the night, we did not feel rushed at all to be out at a certain time. All in all, I can't wait to return to Melbourne to introduce my husband to this interesting restaurant.
