Went for yum cha and this one appealed as appeared clean and well presented.
Surprised by the limited choice of dishes.
The consolation was the salt and peppered calamari which my husband thought was the best he has had!

When in Melbourne you have to try this restaurant for yum cha. The food is delicious and the service is excellent.
We arrived at the door on a Sunday afternoon and there was a cue, but we only waited a few minutes and we were seated. We were not disappointed The food was sooo yum that we sat and ate for around 1 1/2 hours and drank 2 pots of tea. Even though they were really busy we didn't feel as though we were being rushed and the food just kept on coming.
I would recommend this restaurant and their yum cha to all.
The price was also pretty good. The bill came to around $30 p/p
We will be going there again next time we visit Melbourne

We were so stoked at 1am to stumble across this little gem. There were five of us and we were seated very quickly. Our drinks came out right away and our waiter was very pleasant. We ordered duck dumplings, fried dumplings, spicy pork and dim sims. It all came out in excellent time and it all tasted so damn good. They even let us split the bill at the end.

My partner and I went for a meal here at the beginning of march. We were greeted with someone who just looked at us, there was no "hello" etc. My partners drink came out immediately but they forgot about mine for a while and we had to chase it up twice. The food was lovely when it arrived and very filling. What spoilt it was the service from the staff as there was no friendliness there what so ever. They then gave us a funny look as we left as though they anticipated a tip! I would recommend the food but not the service.

Nine of us attended this restaurant on a Sunday. It was my brother's birthday celebration so he got to choose the venue. Five adults and four children aged from 17 to 3 years old, all accomplished diners. First of all we were taken upstairs to a corner table near the front window. We were in an alcove so it was like sitting in an oven. We forgot to mention that we had one person with a broken leg and one 8 months pregnant which was a fault on our behalf, however I doubt they could have done anything as the restaurant was very full.
The Dim Sum was okay but we usually also order other dishes to accompany the offerings. This is where things went horribly wrong. Everything we ordered such as Roast Pork, Roast Duck etc
never arrived in spite of us asking 3 different waiters to follow up. Rice and chinese vegetables took a very long time so after sometime the Birthday Boy was starting to get a little irritated. The response from the waiters was almost like "tell someone who cares". We decided to forgo sweets and get out as fast as we could. It was disappointing as we had travelled over 80 km to get there and were looking forward to the celebration. I suggested we go to The Hopetoun Tearooms to cheer everyone up!
